Whether it’s your first time preparing for the bar exam or second, fourth or fifth, I want you to know that you can do this! God has a great plan for your life. He has promised that you can do ALL things through Him who gives you strength (Philippians 4:13). All includes everything and excludes nothing; all includes passing the bar exam.
The first time that I prepared for the bar exam, I felt so alone. Sure, I had friends and family to support me but spiritually, I felt drained, emptied and alone. I wanted to pour into my spirit each day but I always felt pressed for time. I actually feared that if I spent too much time praying and reading God’s word, I would miss out on valuable time that could be devoted to studying…CRAZY right! Yes, it was!
The second time around, I changed my entire mindset and attitude. The second time, I decided that I was going to include God in every part of my preparation because I recognized that I needed Him. I recognized that I needed His wisdom and not my own in order to pass the bar exam. Thanks to God faithfulness, love and favor, I was able to pass my bar exam.
I don’t ever want anyone else to ever feel alone as they prepare for the bar exam. I don’t ever want another person to feel defeated by the time and preparation that precedes taking the bar exam so, my hope is to encourage and uplift you to win your victory with confidence and faith.
As time goes on, I will share specific scriptures I read when preparing for the bar exam the second time that were encouraging. I will also share information on things I did to prepare for the bar exam that I believe made a significant difference in my performance.
