The Love Will Find You

If you search for love in others you will always be disappointed when it is not found.  But, if you search for God His love will find its way to every part of you.

You see, God is the creator of love so when you search for Him, He begins to reveal himself to every part of you.  He begins to give you his hope.  He begins to breathe new life into you.  He begins to give you strength for each new day.  He begins to sing to your dreams, whisper to your heart, and show you things that were once unimaginable (Jeremiah 33:3).   When you search for God, He gives you His heart to help you mend the broken pieces of your heart.

He, the creator of love, creates a new thing in you that transforms you from the inside out, and makes everything and everyone you ever thought you needed become obsolete.  He, the creator of love, completes you in His image and gives you the love that you always dreamed of knowing.

When you search for God, you become the object of His love.  You as a woman learn what it means to be chased and pursued by unconditional love.  You as a man learn what means to be captivated by a pure love that is unfailing, forgiving and unending.

Love is desired by all but can only be found in One.  We spend hours and waste years of our lives trying to find a love that will last forever, and one that will love us completely. We do these things only to feel abandoned and empty when that love is not found or returned.  Today there is hope.  The love you desire to find will be found when you encounter God.  It’s a meeting of hearts that’s unlike any other encounter.   When you search for Him, you’ll find that He loves you more deeply than any other love you ever thought you could find.

Today, be encouraged to pursue God…it’s an encounter with a love that will last forever.

“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” (Jeremiah 33:3)

Love Indeed is the greatest gift and it is best experienced when we go to the true source of love “God”. Building our confidence begins with knowing how God loves us. When we come to understand the love God for us, it changes our whole look on feeling rejected or worrying about love. As we absorb God’s love, we grow deep in it, knowing that because he loves us he will bring love our way to continue his act of love.1 John 4: 7″Dear friends, let us love one another, because love is from God, and everyone who loves has been fathered by God and knows God. ”
Beautiful post Erika and very well explained!!!

God’s love will truly wreck our hearts from the inside out. He gives us a love that is truly unlike any other, and in turn, we learn how to love others. I love everything you just said sis!

This post reminds me of Fred Hammond’s song, “Lost In You Again”…
SO true! If only I had gotten the revelation that Jesus loves me…REALLY LOVES me, it would’ve saved me from a lot of heartache. Glad no hurt was lost. Just glad I know better now 😉 God’s love is enough!

I need to check out that song! I’m right there with you though…learning this then would’ve saved so much time and heartache but I sure am thankful for the revelation now! One of my favorite scriptures is “I will give you a crown of beauty in place of your ashes.” I’ve seen God do that in my life over the past year and it still amazes me. His love is truly relentless and unfailing. I can’t wait to see what else He does in our lives Tiff!

While nothing is wrong with romantic love, the inappropriate dependence upon it can become idolatry. We lose ourselves not just to fallible partners but in the idea of a relationship filling us up. God longs for proper prioritization of love so we can experience a romantic relationship filled with the joy that comes from both parties loving God in an equal and amazing way. Wonderful post!

It’s so crazy how our longing to be wanted turns into idolatry of that relationship and/or person. I thank God for saving my heart & redirecting my path <3
