The thing about diamonds is…they look better together. Male or female, if you aren’t focused on walking in your calling and pursuing your purpose I’m not interested in your friendship.
“Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” (Amos 3:3).
The Amplified version of this verse says “Do two walk together except they make an appointment and have agreed?” This is saying that two people must be intentional about the direction of their relationship. They must be in agreement about where they are going. They must agree on the boundaries of their relationship and also the consequences of not staying within those boundaries.
A diamond looks amazing when it stands alone but it looks magnificent when it is nestled with other diamonds. Make sure you surround yourself with diamonds in all that you do—personal and professional. When you do that, God’s light and favor will shine in your life from the inside out.
Find someone who pushes you to shine and flourish in purpose. Most of all, find someone who pushes you towards God. You are a diamond. You were born to do great things. Leave the cubic zirconia behind and shine under God’s glory in all that you do.
Scripture: “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.” (Isaiah 60:1)
Prayer: Dear God, help us to see ourselves as the valuable diamonds you’ve created us to be. Give us the strength to leave what is not for us behind. Surround us with the diamonds that make us better from the inside out. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
