How Bad Do You Really Want It?
Part of living the life you’ve always imagined involves taking a leap of faith to do so! You may have to leave a few friends behind. You may have to quit your “day job.” You may have to leave a familiar place or town. You may have to move away from home. You may have to travel to a foreign country. You may have to go back to school for another degree or additional training. You may have to join a new church. You may have to end a relationship. The staircase of faith is endless…
Enjoying what you’ve never had will always require you to do what you’ve never done but, if you really want it, you must do what you know is necessary.
There comes a point and time in our lives when making excuses for not achieving things is no longer acceptable. Why? Because regardless of the roadblocks that others have erected God has made promises to be by your side, to be faithful to you, and to give you hope and a great future (Jeremiah 29:11). He has left written promises that decree and declare that the same overcoming power that rose his Son from the dead lives inside of you (Romans 8:11). Those promises place the decision of walking, moving and acting in faith in your court. The decision is now up to you. Will you walk by faith or will you walk by sight? Will you allow others to hold you back or will you trust in God’s power to thrust you forward in life?
When you’re ready to live the life of your dreams and when you believe that it is possible to live that kind of life, you will trust God with every part of your heart and soul. You will trust Him with your vision and when the opportunity to take a leap of faith is presented, you will JUMP!
Is there something you’ve been waiting to jump on? An opportunity? A business idea? An invention? Today is a great day to do so! No matter where you go, God will always be with you. Allow today to be the day that your faith meets with Him.
Scripture: “So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you” (Deuteronomy 31:6)
Prayer: Dear God, enlarge our faith, increase our vision, increase our ability to grasp our vision; and bless us with the strength and endurance to run with the vision that you have given to us. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
Have a wonderful day & be ENCOURAGED to want it bad enough to have faith!
