Places of Grace…

Today’s message of grace was placed on my heart after reading a beautiful blog written by Pastors Keith A. Butler and Deborah Butler.  Grace has been a recurring message in church and throughout my quiet time over the past few weeks, so I know God is trying to soften my heart in this area.

Grace is defined as God’s unmerited favor.  It’s something that we receive effortlessly because there’s no way to earn it or work for it.  It’s one of the greatest gifts that we’ll ever receive from God.

Just as God shows his grace to us, he desires that we share it and give it to others. Similar to us, even when others deserve it the least we are called to dig deep and show it anyway.  When I think about God’s grace, I picture an endless waterfall.  No matter if life is cold as winter or as bountiful as spring, God’s endless love continues to run over with grace.

Today’s post is a reflection of my thoughts on God’s grace.  It’s inspired by several scriptures (listed at the bottom) and several sermons that have impacted me.  As you read it, I hope to encourage you to believe that God’s grace is available to you and inspire you to show grace to others.

Places of Grace

There is grace for you to achieve your dreams.

There is grace for you to reach your goals.

There is grace for you to help others.

There is grace for you to do something remarkable.

There is grace for you to experience love after experiencing a broken heart.

There is grace for someone to love you after you break another’s heart.

There is grace for you to be forgiven by your enemies.

There is grace for you to forgive your enemies.

There is grace to overcome your greatest fears.

There is grace to walk away from fear.

There is grace for you to be healed.

There is grace for others to receive healing through your prayers.

There is grace for your prayers to change someone’s life.

There is grace for you to discover your purpose.

There is grace for you to grow and flourish in your purpose.

There is grace for you to see God bless your children and cause them to excel.

There is grace for you to see your parents’ dreams and prayers come to pass in your lifetime.

There is grace for you to receive a second chance.

There is grace for you to give others unlimited chances.

There is grace for you to overcome your greatest obstacle.

There is grace for you to become debt-free.

There is grace for someone to bless you until the point of overflow.

There is grace for your gifts.

There is grace for your talents.

There is grace for your creativity and skill set.

There is grace for your spouse and family members to be saved.

There is grace for you to believe in God once more.

There is grace for your mistakes and failures.

There is grace for you to overcome separation, divorce and breakups.

There is grace for God to restore your relationship and your marriage.

There is grace for your heart to be restored and renewed.

There is grace for your business to launch and achieve things that no business has ever achieved.

There is grace for your ideas.

There is grace for your inventions.

No matter what happens in life, God’s grace is alive and it will never run out.

Reflection: Which areas of your life need God’s grace today?  Which relationships and friendships in your life need God’s grace today?  Write those down and declare that God’s grace is flowing abundantly in those areas.

Scriptures on Grace: You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God (2 Corinthians 9:11).

For in him you have been enriched in every way—with all kinds of speech and with all knowledge (1 Corinthians 1:5).

Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others (Colossians 3:13).

Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love (Ephesians 4:2).

Prayer:  God thank you for your generous supply of grace that you have bestowed upon me.  Today, help me to share that same generous grace with others.  I declare that my life, my dreams, my relationships, my health and my finances are full of your grace. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Love,

~ETE

Amen to your post. All I could recall and replay in my heard whiles reading your post is a song by Matt Redman ” Your Grace Finds Me”. We thank God for his grace that enables you to share his wisdom given to you through your post.Because of his Grace we are able to remember and recite the powerful words in
    Psalm 23
” 1 The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
    3 he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
    for his name’s sake.
    4 Even though I walk
    through the darkest valley,[a]
    I will fear no evil,
    for you are with me;
    your rod and your staff,
    they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
    You anoint my head with oil;
    my cup overflows.
6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord”.
He is always with us and will never leave us even when we feel like giving up, because his grace is always with us!!!

Amen to that! This is my note to myself almost daily “Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life.” God is with us in all things which is why we have the grace to do all things through him. Amen sis! Amen!
