The Best Action Plan For Anything in Life

The Best Action Plan For Anything in Life

Faith isn’t about having all of the answers, it’s about trusting God in the absence of answers.  If you could predict the future, you wouldn’t need faith but since you’re not God you need faith.

Sometimes the best action plan is the one that says “I will say yes to whatever God asks of me.”  Sometimes the best plan is the one that just commits to saying “yes.”  You may not have all of the information on how to write a business plan.  You may not have the money to start a business.  You may not have the resources to start working towards your dream–and that’s okay.  The key to knowing to how to do something is not found in you, it is found in God.  The best plan that you and I could ever develop to make our dreams come true, is the plan to simply trust God.

It’s the plan that says “God, I don’t have the resources to make anything come to pass but I know that you do so I’m following you.”

You may not have the resources in your physical possession but God has them in his heavenly possession.  He can move at any moment and cause someone to bless you with office space, finances and/or equipment to launch your dream.  If he moves, you have to be ready to move with him.  You have to be ready to receive.  The only way to be ready is to stay in a ready position.  The ready position is the position that steadily says “yes.”  Yes God, I will tithe even though I need this last $10 to pay my bill.  Yes God, I will honor my boss even though he/she does not honor me. Yes God, I will stay home on the weekends to pray and fast over my dreams.

You never know what God will ask of you.  You never know when His request will come; but if you have an action plan in place called “yes” you’ll always be ready to receive when God says “yes” to you.  Today could be the day that God says “yes.”  Today could be the day that dream comes to pass.  Get your action plan together.  Get your heart rooted in the word of God.  Get your faith committed to saying “yes.”

Reflection:  What are you believing God for today?  What dreams are you waiting to see come to pass?

Action Plan:  As of today, Thursday, February 6, 2014, I commit my faith to saying yes to whatever God asks of me.  I will not move in fear due to the resources, money and connections that I do not have.  I will not operate in doubt due to the things that have not yet come to pass.  Today, I commit to following God.  Today, I commit to saying “yes” to God.  Yes, I trust you.  Yes, I believe in you.  Yes, I will honor you.  Yes, I will have faith in you and nothing else.  Today, my action plan is to commit to saying yes, to all God has for me.  All of God’s promises are Yes and Amen (2 Corinthians 1:20).

Print and post your Action Plan.

Be encouraged to continue to trust in God with all of your heart.  God will not fail you.

I love the action plan. I love your encouragement to us it is an awesome reminder that yes is an answer from God. He doesn’t always say no and sometimes it’s scarier when he says Yes. But with him and through Him we can be exactly who He has called us to be. I love you friend!!

Amen! I’ve been challenging myself to make “yes” my action plan and I’ve seen God move in new ways and do above what I was praying for. I believe many of our prayers can be answered through committing our hearts to just saying “yes” to God. Thanks so much for posting on today’s post! It’s always fun to read what God places on others’ hearts! I love you too! =)

Amen! I really like that “I choose not to fight harder.” It is a great reminder to let God control every decision and all of our reactions. Thanks so much for sharing your declaration! I really like it!

Thank you Erika once again for your unfailing wisdom and encouragement. YES Lord we will heed to your guidance with strength from above. As you said in one of your post from last year when there is silence from God it means we should wait because he is molding us into that beautiful sculpture. We are mostly impatient and want to predict our future, forgetting God is the true author we need to submit to. A friend posted wonderful words on Instagram over the weekend which said God does not say NO to our prayers but rather he either says YES I will give you want you want right away, WAIT for what you want because his timing is best or I actually have something better and greater than WHAT you are asking for. Though that great something might seem a NO to us, it is actually God working to perfect his promises to us. With authentic FAITH we can move in the stagnant waters of life because we know only God can redeem us. Hebrews 11: 1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good testimony”. We need to learn to say yes to God even when it doesn’t make sense, so he can come in and direct the course of our action plan. With his plan we can testify of his greatness because the outcome is beyond our own action plan!!!
I feel so pumped with this post thank you!!!

Amen sis! It’s all to God’s glory. The more we practice saying yes, the more we’ll see God move in our lives. Our yes gives God more room to do the unexpected and the unimaginable. Thanks so much for your words of wisdom and encouragement! And, that IG post you referred to is one of my faves! I’ve seen it a few times here and there! Love you sis!
