If Your Dreams Are Hungry, Feed Them Faith

Buenos Dias & Happy Monday Friends!

Today I’m sharing a declaration that I made yesterday after listening to a message about faith.  The message was an encouraging reminder about the importance of responding to God in faith.  When we respond to God’s instruction in faith, we give God infinite room to move and bring new things into our lives.  However, we limit God when we respond with fear.  Fear says “no God, I’m not ready so I’m doing things my way.” But faith says “okay God. Yes, I will do things your way.”  Our response of faith can bring more than we ever imagined.  It can take us to places we never dreamed were possible, and it can accomplish the unimaginable.

Even if your faith is as small as a grain of mustard seed, it’s still a response of faith and God can use it to do great and mighty things in your life (Matthew 17:20).

Today’s declaration is about making the decision to respond to God in faith.  As you repeat it, I hope it encourages and inspires you to have confidence in God’s plan and will for your life. No matter which direction God leads you, He will never lead you astray.

Be encouraged & have a wonderful day!

feed your faith

Monday Declaration: “God can do more in my life when I am open to His will.  God can make room for increase in my life when I let go of fear.  The fear that I am holding onto is taking up space for confidence, trust, faith, courage and boldness.  I want to see God move mightily in my life as promised in His word so, I am going to make a conscious and valiant effort to let go of every fearful thing.  No matter how rough times may get on the road of faith, nothing is tougher than living a life of fear and never experiencing God’s increase and favor.  I will serve the Lord of heaven’s armies by walking in faith everyday of  my life.  I am disconnecting from fear on my job, in my relationships, in my friendships and anywhere else.  God is waiting for me at the corner of faith and trust.  My hope is in Him. It is not in this world because I am not of this world (1 Peter 2:9).  This is my life of faith. I am committed to living a life of faith starting today and the rest of my life. I may lose friends.  I may lose opportunities but one thing I’ll never lose is the favor of God because without faith it is impossible for me to please my wondrous God (Hebrews 11:6). This is my day of faith. This is my year. In the name of Jesus, Amen.”

Today’s scripture references are listed below:

“And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him” (Hebrews 11:6) (New Living Translation).

“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God’s] own [a]purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light” (1 Peter 2:9) (Amplified).

“He said to them, Because of the littleness of your faith [that is, your lack of [a]firmly relying trust]. For truly I say to you, if you have faith [[b]that is living] like a grain of mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, Move from here to yonder place, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you” (Matthew 17:20)(Amplified).

My devotion today talked about the word becoming flesh, the weird part is at work today, I tried to remember the verses I read and for some reason my head could just not remember what I read. It’s wonderful how God responds to us when we are calling on him. Amazingly after I read your post I was able to remember the verses immediately and remembered it related to having FAITH. John 1:48 “How do you know me?” Nathanael asked. Jesus answered, “I saw you while you were still under the fig tree before Philip called you.”49 Then Nathanael declared, “Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the king of Israel.”50 Jesus said, “You believe[h] because I told you I saw you under the fig tree. You will see greater things than that.” Let’s plant our seed in God and water it with faith, for with faith we can reap a good harvest!!!

And you know what, that verse just made me think of Luke 1:45 when Mary said “you are blessed because you believed that the Lord would do what He said.” It’s just like when Jesus told Nathanael “you believe because I told you I saw you…” We are blessed when we take the word of God and make it final. When we just trust in what He says and walk in the confidence of His word which does not return to us void. I just love our faith exchanges that we share everyday! I love you sis! =)
