In the natural your faithfulness to God may seem slow to produce fruit but do not become discouraged.  The lives of your friends may seem like they are rocket-launching into success while yours is moving slowly, but keep goingGod is preparing your launch pad.  Your bank account may still only have two zeros in front of the decimal point but do not stop tithing. Keep the two zeros on your face (eyes) focused on God, and He will multiply your finances above anything you could ever ask for, think or imagine (Eph. 3:20). Continue to speak God’s promises over your finances.

We don’t often realize the value of our faithfulness because we live in a time when shortcuts to wealth and opportunity are glamorized.  However, today I want to encourage you! There is favor in your faithfulness. There is power in your faithfulness that you can’t even see or imagine.  Faithfulness is an intangible that produces everlasting tangible blessings in your life.  In fact, the Word of God calls it a fruit of the spirit because it provides nourishment to you and those who receive it from you (Gal. 5:22-23).  Your faithfulness carries more value, honor, favor and goodness than you’ll ever know.

Each day that you choose to remain faithful to God, you store up another blessing. You store up blessings of healing, promotion, increase, opportunity, advancement, favor, love, kindness, wealth, health…the list goes on and on!

The blessing of faithfulness was put on my heart yesterday evening after reading this beautiful passage of scripture. I hope it blesses you as much as it blessed me. Moreover, I hope it encourages you to keep going & keep moving forward in God.

Happy Friday!

Psalm 112 (NLV)

1 Praise the Lord!

How joyful are those who fear the Lord

   and delight in obeying his commands.

2 Their children will be successful everywhere;

   an entire generation of godly people will be blessed.

3 They themselves will be wealthy,

   and their good deeds will last forever.

4 Light shines in the darkness for the godly.

   They are generous, compassionate, and righteous.

5 Good comes to those who lend money generously

   and conduct their business fairly.

6 Such people will not be overcome by evil.

   Those who are righteous will be long remembered.

7 They do not fear bad news;

   they confidently trust the Lord to care for them.

8 They are confident and fearless

   and can face their foes triumphantly.

9 They share freely and give generously to those in need.

   Their good deeds will be remembered forever.

   They will have influence and honor.

10 The wicked will see this and be infuriated.

   They will grind their teeth in anger;

   they will slink away, their hopes thwarted.

 You are so blessed…and UENOIT!

    As we pursue on the path be faithful to God, fear and self doubt sometimes gets the best of us. The reality of the journey comes with uncertainties however because of these uncertainties, is the reason why we have to trust in faith and believe God is with us and will see us through. When athletes run, each has its own track lane, and each finishes at different times based on his/her speed. The goal comes down to persevering to cross the finish line. The ones that don’t make it is usually a result of a muscle pull or a bad start causing them to not cross the line. Yet those upsets don’t cause them to give up or stop competing in events, but train and prepare for the next. This path we are on is not easy; it comes with trials and challenges and we all have different struggles. I pray we all become each others’ heating pad to restore the pulled muscles that we feel during the journey, so the finish line can be crossed to glorify The Lord. As you shared today when we are faithful to The Lord, ” there is favor in our faithfulness”. Thank you blessed Erika!!!

      Amen Roz! I love this “I pray we all become each others’ heating pad to restore the pulled muscles that we feel during the journey, so the finish line can be crossed to glorify The Lord.” I am in agreement with that prayer and I’m here to be your heating pad sis. “Two are better than one…they can help each other succeed.” =)

    “They are confident and fearless and can face their foes triumphantly.” Isn’t that awesome! “Fear” of the Lord results in fearlessness in the face of foes! I like it.

      Amen! It sure does! That’s one of my goals each and everyday for 2014 “fear nothing and no one!”
