Yesterday, I shared that relationships with friends and family will be a priority in 2014.  I have many dreams that I would like to see come true and so do others.  I know my dreams will require God’s favor so the best thing I can do is show God’s favor to others.

God is clear that there is power in numbers.  He loves partnerships! We know this because the bible says “one can put a thousand to flight, but two can put ten thousand to flight” (Deut. 32:30).

Where are you planning to go this year?

What do you plan to achieve this year?

Is there someone you can support along the way?  My guess is that your answer is, yes. Yes! There is someone you can make time to support or encourage.  Even if that person is in the same profession as you, your support is needed to help them get where they desire to be.  God has enough resources for everyone to achieve their dreams, so no one is your competition.   I repeat, our friends and colleagues are not our competition.  They are our partners, and together we can achieve great things.  God is the creator of heaven and earth. All of heaven and earth’s resources belong to Him.  Therefore, when you pray for others to succeed, when you support others and when you walk in love, you cause even the treasures in heaven to be shaken and transferred down to you (Haggai 2:5-9).

We can make an impact jointly, and we can achieve things above and beyond the dreams that we’ve written on paper when we support one another.  Remember, “two people are better than one, for they can help each other succeed” (Ecc. 4:9).

Who can you help succeed in 2014?  Even better, who can you help succeed in January?  Imagine what could be achieved if you set a goal to support one person or business each month.  At the end of the year, you will have helped 12 people.  You will have invested in 12 stories of victory.  You will have shown God’s love in 12 ways. You will have stored up favor in 12 different places.

If you have a goal or dream for 2014, and you would like support and encouragement, let others know.  Let me know too, so I’ll know to help you.  There is power in partnerships. Who will you support in 2014?  Happy New Year!

As I started reading this post the word “united” came to mind, the next thought was United States. It’s amazing how together in unity there is so much strength. Since you encouraged the Daniel fast, I have always wanted to refreshen myself on the story of Daniel. Today I finally did and it’s amazing how you blessed us with a message on partnership. As I read the story of Daniel, part of his story that I never knew which caught my attention was Daniel 1:(8) Daniel made up his mind not to let himself become ritually unclean by eating the food and drinking the wine of the royal court, so he asked Ashpenaz to help him, 9 and God made Ashpenaz sympathetic to Daniel.
Reading verse 9 I was greatly touched, this made me realize when God touches ones heart to lend a helping hand, it is not from us or within us but rather God who causes us to have the sting or intuition. Your message reaffirmed that when we extend a helping hand to others it’s actually God doing his work. For Daniel to fulfill what God had planned he made Ashpenaz sympathetic and with the partnership of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, God’s plan was fulfilled. We all have a purpose individually and with our individual roles we can help others and together form a much stronger army. Indeed God placed this message on your heart thank you!!!

The act of fasting just goes to show us that we can gain so much when we sacrifice our desires. I think it’s amazing how fasting brings friends closer to one another. It also makes us more sensitive to the needs of others, which in turn allows us to reach more of God’s people. This short fast has shown me that in many ways. It has helped me to broaden my vision and it has helped me to gain creativity on how I can use my gifts and passion to help others. I’m so thankful that you did the fast with me. You’ve shared so much wisdom over the last three days. Each story you’ve shared has allowed me to learn something new and has added meaning to my relationship with God. Thanks for being a light Roz! You are truly a blessing and you are gifted with wisdom and understanding. Keep using your gift & keep sharing it with others. We need it. =)

Drop me a line!
